Dear Social and Intermediate Members,
Sailing lessons are back at HYC. This season, Port Sailing will offer American Sailing Association 101 (Basic Keelboat Sailing) classes at the Harlem Yacht Club. Classes are scheduled to begin June 19.
This is a beginner class taught aboard Catalina 25s--either HYC Club Boats or Port Sailing boats of the same type.
Classes meet on 3 consecutive Sundays from 9:30 to 5 pm. Course fee includes ASA certification and book.
After successfully completing on-water and written tests, students can qualify to use HYC Catalina 25 boats when they join the club as Intermediate members.
