HYC boats will rendezvous in Oyster Bay on Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, July 12. Skippers can sail their own boats. Other members can hitch a boat-ride or come overland by car to Oyster Bay. To hitch a ride, reach out to a skipper you know. For example, a new social member is sailing with Fleet Captain Roger Karlebach on the boat ILENE, and he and the human Ilene have room for one more. Dear Members, Don't want to brave the crowds of New York Harbor or Manhattan for the grand Parade of Sail mounted by Sail4th 250? Then keep an eye on the Sound just outside Eastchester Bay on Friday morning, July 3. We're adding more ways for Intermediate and Social members to get out on the water. For years, HYC's Old Salts afternoons have given members and non-members weekday opportunities to sail on members' boats and then socialize at the Clubhouse.
