Boat Launchings to Begin May 7 Under Safety Restrictions

Following the April 18 New York State announcement that marinas could resume restricted operations in conformity with social-distancing rules, the HYC Marine Committee has set May 5 as the date for putting a club launch in the water, and is preparing to begin launching member boats on May 7, weather permitting. A revised launching schedule will be posted as soon as it is available. Note that launching crew and boat owners present will be required to observe social-distancing protocols and wear personal protective equipment. Meanwhile, the Clubhouse remains closed. Members may continue working on their boats, but should remember to maintain social distance and good antiviral hygeine. Only the men's restroom in the Locker House will be available while the ladies' room is under repair. Be well.
